February 20, 2022 - AL Anderson and Craig Parks
Today, we checked out AL Anderson Park, a little park on the west side of big Lake Tarpon.
AL Anderson park may have been little, but it was by far the prettiest one we had been to this trip, not counting the Leu's Botanical Gardens.
A couple actually got married on this boardwalk right before we arrived.
The pictures don't do the scenery justice.
Next Lynnette and I headed over to Craig Park on Whitcomb Bayou. Here Lynnette tries to imitate a mermaid.
There was a nice walkway along the Bayou.
Craig Park had an interesting little museum called the Tarpon Springs Heritage Museum.
Florida back in the day must have been quite something. Primeval wilderness.
The museum featured some impressive Florida water-related paintings done by Christopher Still.
Amazingly, Still did some of his painting underwater using this device.
This paper-machete manatee would be the only one we would see this Florida trip.
Another afternoon at Howard Park Beach, this time without the fog.
